I dunno. This seems kind of fun to do so here we go! 1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?
6 years I believe. Possibly 7-8 years if you count an old account that I never really used. I've been around here for a long while I suppose, haha!
2. What does your username mean?
You know, I don't honestly remember. "Ringo Nakishima" was a pen name I used way back when, during the time I was really big into anime and such. I believe the pen name used to be Ringo Nagoya but it somehow turned into Nakishima and yeah. I've been wanting to change it for quite sometime but honestly it's kinda stuck here now.
3. Describe yourself in three words.
Creative, funny and, I dunno, friendly? I'm not good at things like this.
4. Are you left or right handed?
I'm right handed. Tried to teach myself to be ambidextrous but yeah no.
5. What was your first deviation?
I think after all these years I've learned that character design is a huge passion of mine. I don't know what it is about but it's extremely fun to make a ton of characters and cast.
7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Um, you know, I don't know honestly. I would like to master a painterly style if that counts for much. I've never been fantastic at painting, both digitally and traditionally. I make the attempt though. But doesn't go very far.
8. What was your first favourite?
A drawing by an old friend. 9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Um, I don't know? Whatever I think looks cool and neat I suppose?
10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
All of my friends and probably Endling, GrisGrimly and Phobs. 11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
You know, it wasn't just one fellow deviant that impacted my life. It was several. This is where I met some of my best friends as well as some other amazing folks that have kept me going throughout the years. As well as all my watchers on here.
This is gonna sound corny as hell but like I never thought I would get fans of my work. I never thought I was going to get over 300 watchers that watch my work. It's a real trip whenever I think about it but it keeps me going to create more and just continue forward with what I love.
With that, I wanna thank all of you for the support over the years. uwu
13. What are your preferred tools to create art?
Traditionally, I prefer using Microns, Bristol, 5h/6h sketch pencils, Prismacolour pencils and .7 mechanical pencils.
Digitally, I use Paint Tool SAI, Photoshop and my Monoprice tablet.
14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
